Priests House
Tower Hill
Tucked amongst the ever changing Tower Hill area is a recent renovation project at 30 Prescot Street for the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Adjoining the Roman Catholic Church of the English Martyrs (by Pugin and Pugin) the house provides a home and administrative centre for the priests. The renovation of the grade II listed Georgian House included the sensitive insertion of lifts to aid accessibility and the safeguarding of the building structurally and from damp. The layout of the building was restored and improved, a new event suite added in the basement and the garden reclaimed.
